AwarenessAI was pleased to take part in a recent UKAI and Mindstone meetup in Leeds, hosted at Barclays Eagle Labs.
The event brought together a range of local businesses, founders and professionals to explore how AI is being applied in practice. The focus throughout the evening was on real-world use cases, with speakers demonstrating how AI is being integrated into day-to-day workflows across different sectors.
As part of the session, AwarenessAI founder Tom Mason delivered a live walkthrough showing how AI can be used to analyse how a business is represented online. The session covered how organisations are surfaced in AI-generated recommendations, how they are described, and which sources are influencing those outputs.
The demonstration also highlighted a repeatable workflow that enables organisations to move from observation to action. This included identifying gaps in visibility, assessing the accuracy of AI-generated descriptions, and establishing a baseline for how a business appears across different AI platforms.
Alongside this, other sessions explored the impact of AI on sales workflows and its application within professional sport, providing a broader view of how the technology is being used in practice.
A consistent theme across the event was the shift from experimentation to implementation. While AI continues to evolve, many organisations are already embedding it into operational processes, often seeing measurable improvements in efficiency and decision-making. The event also included a roundtable discussion on the future of AI in Leeds, as well as an opportunity for attendees to continue conversations through informal networking.
AwarenessAI would like to thank the organisers for bringing together a valuable and practical session, and looks forward to supporting similar initiatives as the local AI ecosystem continues to develop.
